Animal Farm

“Animal Farm” is a classic allegorical novella written by George Orwell, one of the most celebrated authors of the 20th century. First published in 1945, this timeless masterpiece continues to captivate readers with its powerful social commentary and thought-provoking themes.

Set in an idyllic farm, the story revolves around the animals’ rebellion against their oppressive human owner, Mr. Jones. Inspired by the dream of a utopian society, the animals take control of the farm, with the leadership of the wise pig, Old Major, and the intellectual boar, Snowball. Initially, the farm flourishes under the principles of “Animalism,” where all animals are equal, and prosperity seems within reach.

However, as time passes, a new, tyrannical regime led by the cunning and power-hungry pig, Napoleon, be-gins to emerge. The utopian dream is soon corrupted, and the farm becomes a dystopian society plagued by deception, manipulation, and betrayal. As the animals endure hardships and disillusionment, they learn the harsh realities of power and its potential to corrupt even the noblest of intentions
