This song is the first on my new EP also titled "The Drawer" because all eight songs were hidden until I opened them up to let people hear about experiences in my life. The song is based on a real manipulative and toxic relationship that lasted far too long. Beauty is sometimes only skin deep. Once I dug below the surface, I discovered only ugliness, but in the process I found myself. "The Drawer" will touch so many people who have experienced something similar.
