Jane Goodall's childhood dream inspired by toys and books (Tarzan, Dr Dolittle) came true in 1960. Dr Louis Leakey sent her to Gombe Park, Tanzania to find and observe wild chimpanzees, that led to lifelong study and groundbreaking finds.
