Yulia Ognyanova ends her "Theatrical Knowledge" in GITIS, Moscow. Between 1954 and 1957, he taught "Theater Knowledge" at the VITIZ " Kr. Sarafov". She received the title of director in 1959. As an adviser to the Committee on Science, Art and Culture, she met Willy Tsankov and Leon Daniel. In 1958 three of them start working at the Burgas Drama Theater. Together with Metodi Andonov, they founded the "Burgas four", with the help of which they successfully reformed the means and drama in the theater. After the termination of the activity of the "Burgas Group" in 1960, Yulia Ognyanova transferred her search to a theatrical and clowning model. She performed in theaters in Yambol, Smolyan, Haskovo, in the private theater "La Strada". Abroad, she directed performances in Latvia, Poland, Italy, Cyprus, etc., taught in Italy and France.
