Mauro Corona lives in Erto, in the Vajont valley. Passionate mountaineer, brilliant writer, playful protagonist of memorable company evenings crossed by lively discussions, he is also - perhaps above all - a talented sculptor of great expressive originality. The film is a portrait of the man and the artist in his social environment, but also a reflection on the sculptures which find direct and immediate inspiration in the mountains.
