Today's ventriloquists are mostly found in the entertainment world, although today's stand-up artists less often use a talking doll as a partner. Filmmaker Sandra Luckow, herself a ventriloquist from the United States, made a trip with her doll Juanito, who is from Mexico, to study the tradition and regrowth of the peculiar art.
