The film meets our children Tanya, 5, Fanka and Veselina, 13, as performers at the national folklore festival in Koprivshtitsa in 1986. After 9 years, Tanya is 14, and Fanka and Veselina already have children of their own. suffer that they have ceased their singing activity. But the song has penetrated deep into their souls and in difficult life circumstances times supports them. The connection between these life experiences of the girls and the similar, similar emotions, provoked by the metaphorical content of the songs they performed, was sought.
