Larry Jon Wilson (1940-2010) would return to Nashville once in a while to do a show, usually at the Bluebird Cafe. He had a history in Nashville, one that didn't always agree with him, but when he came back it was to perform for friends and fans. His four Monument albums long out of print and no new recording in sight, hearing Larry Jon 'live' was the only way to hear him unless you were lucky enough to have one of the old vinyl albums.
