The love of American cars and rockabilly music is inherited. The young people in the rockabilly band Topcats are the new generation of Värmland rockers/greasers. They look for old clothes on flea markets and wax their hair to live the life of a rocker/greaser. In the film we meet rockers/greasers of all ages, the youngest 14 years and the oldest 76. Old-time rocker/greaser fights have been replaced by family parties but the cars are glowing and the engines are muddy as they always did in the rocker/greaser culture.
