The two boys Papou and Goumbé, who inhabit their own worlds, are both about to take their first steps towards becoming independent adults. As they are graduating from highschool they are confronted by the same kinds of problems; family relations, complicated love affairs, corruption, drugs and even death, which they deal with in opposite ways. Growing up is not easy anywhere in the world, and for African youth, who often grow up at the crossroad of tradition and modernity, it might sometimes be even harder.
