TREE SAFARI: A SCULPTURAL JOURNEY follows the artistic process of a world-class artist seeking exotic woods for his creations. Brad Sells travels the panoramic African bush, scattering wildlife and meeting Zulu shamans in search of the mythic and medicinal aspects of African trees. One home, Sells sculpts a dazzling collection for an acclaimed Chicago art exposition. As cultural touchstones, these woods connect art, science, commerce and environmental stewardship.
