Dajiba is a straight-forward and god-fearing farmer. His wife, Rukhmini, is very proud of the Marathi culture. She has two, yet to be married sisters, Sharu and Netra. She is searching for two Marathi boys for her sisters. But the two younger sisters fall in love with Non-Maharashtrian boys. When Rukhmini comes to know she gets angry and refuses to give permission for the marriage. Dajiba tries to convince Rukhmini. After consistent efforts she finally agrees. But now the parents of respective boys refuse to accept this marriage proposal. Both of them lie to their parents and the out of control situation has to be handled by Dajiba and Rukhmini
