Join this remarkable group of mothers, daughters, sisters and friends, filmed over the course of one year, as they skate their way to the 2010 Whale Cup. The film provides a rare view into the victory as well as the struggle faced by a community steeped in tradition yet living among the demands of a modern world. This group of women find the resources daily to cope with the inherent realities of life in a remote town while sharing a sense of community rarely seen in our world today.
