The story of Cathrine Ann, an abused and neglected child of alcoholic parents, who endures decades of seemingly insurmountable obstacles (becoming pregnant at 14, being pimped out by her uncle, doing a stint in jail, forging university transcripts to get into Medical College, getting entangled with the Mob who threaten her life) until she eventually finds herself broke and homeless, planning an armed robbery, out of hopeless despair. But her criminal plans get tested when she is offered an opportunity to attend a new government training program for budding entrepreneurs, that could help her change her life around once and for all.
