Florentia 1376. In the small village of Bandino, near the monastery of Paradiso, sexual relations take place between friars and nuns. Over time, some nuns become pregnant. Meanwhile, the Florentine nobleman Antonio Alberti, having escaped the plague, becomes the new owner of Paradise and comes to live there, unaware of everything.
