Kanlı Aşk

In 2011, The Sheepdogs made history when they became the first unsigned band to grace the cover of Rolling Stone, topping 15 other artists in the magazine's "Choose the Cover" contest. Now, The Sheepdogs' journey is documented in Beware the Dogs, following the Canadian rockers - Ewan Currie, Ryan Gullen, Leot Hanson and Sam Corbett - from humble beginnings to landing Rolling Stone's cover and the ensuing musical and popular success. In a time when the saturation of musical groups provides a sea of unknowns who remain unseen and unheard, The Sheepdogs have managed to ride the wave and rise above. And deservedly so: After hundreds of shows, pushing through roadblock after roadblock, The Sheepdogs perfected their vintage-boogie rock sound and winding vocal harmonies. They aspire to create music the way they like it, keeping their sound true to themselves no matter how bright the spotlight shines. Their music and tight live sets have the power to instantly win over classic-rock fans. In this rock and roll tale, Beware of the Dogs follows the band through performances in front of the music industry's biggest execs to playing at Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival to a Late Night with Jimmy Fallon appearance to their hometown of Saskatoon. Candid moments with "dogs" admirers including Kid Rock reveal why The Sheepdogs earned it, won it, deserved it and are now rockin' it. From their North American tour with Kings of Leon, to headlining in the U.S and Europe with their self-titled album produced in Nashville by Patrick Carney of the Black Keys - now certified gold in Canada - The Sheepdogs' story, and their passion for music, will continue to be heard.
