Kanlı Aşk

'The Legacy of Joseph Gifford' is the first in a series of films, created by Jill Uchiyama. 'Legacy' capture the heart of a subject by artfully expressing the most important aspects of that life and how the subject has uniquely touched and changed the world in one lifetime. Dancer, choreographer, and Boston University Professor, Joseph Gifford, 94, the subject of this first film, is the last surviving member of the Humphrey-Weidman dance troupe. Bringing his personal stories and spiritual wisdom to his students which span 8 decades and include dancers, actors, and conductors, Joesph's love for life is intimately expressed throughout his career and 64 year relationship with his partner, Talbot Waterman. As someone who continues to evolve, Joe's legacy is both authentic and universal.
