Kanlı Aşk

Contemporary global problems such as climate change, pollution, poverty and wars has produced a new political subject: an enlightened consumer, whose mission is to struggle for a better world by trying to control the markets and production through out better consuming. The polemic video essay The Gospel of the Enlightened Consumer asks can we really unravel these problems by consuming? Why has there appeared recently a consumer that has awaken to solve the problems of capitalism? Why is fair trade something we have now, not a memory from the beginning of industrialization when exploitation was something totally different? 'The market is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, markets do not produce swords for no reason.'
