OFFSTAGE is a documentary featuring a group of convicts-actors. Starring among them are the former leading roles of the award winning Cesar must die. The Film narrates the stories of convicts serving long term imprisonment and life sentences, exemplifying the history of crime that has affected Italian country.

Humanity is the guiding thread of this intimate and sincere documentary, the meaning of which is in the research by the young director: the need to question himself incessantly about two key figures of his childhood, on the meaning of friendship, on the image that a son has of his own father.
