The narrator, a Parisian in his forties, tells us about his initiatory journey around the world to discover an ancestral wisdom. Following a reflection on his life, he undertakes four journeys to meet shamans: Siberia (Vera Sahzina) - Ecuador (José Lucuy and Maria) - Gabon (community of 8 Mbeng N'tam sisters) and Canada (Grandma Loumitéa). A road-movie through the different shamanic traditions of the world, the film allows us to penetrate the intimacy and the mysteries of these fascinating and marginal men and women. Who are they? How do they live? What are their rituals? What stories do they tell us? In the intimacy of their lives, we perceive the generosity of these men and women who care, who advise, who participate in the well-being of their fellow men. These men and women are doctors of the soul. Beyond cultural differences, shamanism is a mystery of permanent revelation. It does not exist as a formula or system. It is a permanent reanimation of the living. The film allows us to hear a song that we have often ignored, that of the heart and of communion with nature.
