A village in the south of Brandenburg. The only supermarket has just been demolished. The gas station only opens every two weeks - for the single dance "Caribbean". Where else do you meet and talk here? Not really anymore - if so, then in the cemetery. Based on a series of mysterious deaths, "Heme" tells the story of the village and its inhabitants. For decades, people have experienced terrible and strange things here. In interviews they remember the time after the war, the GDR and the fall of the Berlin Wall.
