The protagonists of the film doc are Italians on holiday or transplanted in Miami that tell Italy through slow distanced lenses. Like an episodic film, Vacation in Miami tries to weave the classic Italian comedy with portraiture, testimony, investigation. From this story emerges is a new gallery of Italians who have fielded resourcefulness, curiosity, risk without indulging in the story of their suffering. Salvatore and Brandi have decided to take a photograph of Italians abroad that is not usual, among vacationers and migrant workers.
