Just before the birth of her first child, Lislene is thrown out on the street by her boyfriend. Lislene reports abuse against her boyfriend and goes to live in a sheltered home. When she withdraws the report against her boyfriend, Youth Care comes into play and daughter Luna is placed under supervision. Lislane is given 2 years to create a safe environment for her daughter with guidance.
