As they drive through the streets lit by the city lights, Lucky and Vladimir reminisce of times long gone, and brush the picture of their daily lives. Lucky works as a home health aid whereas Vladimir, horrified by the surrounding moral decay finds a shelter in the depths of he night. In parallel, a young girl runs away from home to escape her violent father and her alcoholic mother. A she hides behind a monkey mask, she silently witnesses nightlife revealing its fragile, blunt and endearing personalities. As Lucky searches for her, he cannot forget the forgotten whom he reaches daily at work.
