Though somehow it isn't the end for him as Grayson wakes up in the place where he died, haunted by a phantom figure, silently guiding him back to the same people that killed him. What he finds on his way back to his murderer leads him to a conspiracy that ties his former group to the richest man in the world. Reluctantly, in his attempt to unravel the events that led to his death, he finds the purpose he never had in life; he becomes "the Shadow."
