The story of Bauru, a city in the state of São Paulo, Brazil, is rich in curiosities and carries a strong nostalgia by those who experience it at some point. With this assumption, six film students - Evandro Souza, Debora Dias, Matheus Stefanini, Rubens José Leal, Henrique Moraes and Leonardo Oliveira - have decided to take as the main character of a documentary the complex of the Old Bauru Train Station. 'On the Rails of History', directed by Evandro Souza, tells the trajectory of the railroad in Baurusince the enormous progress that has brought to the city, creating thousands of jobs and encouraging the development of different sectors until nearly two decades that the building remained abandoned. Finally, the documentary also provides a hopeful tone, showing the recent occupation of the Old Railway Station by various artistic and cultural groups. For the soundtrack, were used songs included in the Creative Commons policies (CC), that is, creations of artists who offer their work for free use with no copyright payments, provided they are given due credit for the works used. Among the artists are the Russian composer Sergey Cheremisinov, which came into contact with the staff, congratulating for the results of the film and thanking for choosing your music, the Portuguese band Dead Combo and the German musician Martin Juhls, who also wrote wishing all the best luck for this job.
