Frio is the story of two young up-and-coming Nicaraguan surfers as they embark on a surf journey and adventure from their modest hometown up to cold water Canada. A first of its kind, the film documents their entire experience, from warm to cold and good to bad. The film is both heartwarming and enlightening as we see first hand the culture shock these two young men experience as well as the challenges they face on a trip so unique.
