Premiered by Caracol Television on December 2016, The New Wave tells the story of different Colombian artists that dedicate themselves to answer the question: what is Colombian music? Through different musical genres, these artists are convinced that Colombia has a special sound. Many have met along the way, have become united, have reached worldwide fame or remained anonymous. Each of them has a story about Colombian contemporary music.
