Unsigned masterpiece "As soon as one enters the parish church of St. Vincent in Torri, the eye is immediately enraptured by the beauty of the crucifix, a sculpture of great importance that has not had great historiographical fortune but is truly a masterpiece of medieval wooden sculpture." So begins the documentary film and aims to illustrate and describe the value of the wooden sculpture of the Crucifix of St. Vincent in Torri. The artist who made this marvelous sculpture between 1220 and 1230 is still anonymous and it has not, at least for the moment, been possible to trace who masterfully completed the work. Given the special beauty of the Crucifix, the documentary proposes that from now on the author be referred to as the Master of San Vincenzo in Torri.
