"Margakke Koneyilla" is a documentary film which was the only documentary from India which got selected and screened in 9th Bangalore international film festival (also one among world's best 6 documentaries). It is a documentary film about Kannada's well known Research Scholar, Nadoja, DR M.M Kalburgi who was shot dead on 30th August 2015 at his Dharwad residence by unidentified killers. This documentary covers the life, Research, and many fields in which DR M.M Kalburgi worked. And also the documentary covers the controversies which were surrounding Dr Kalburgi in his lifetime, Life threat he faced, brutal murder, the developments happened in Indian society after his murder, a sensitivity of religion, raised voices against Intolerance in India, Investigation of Kalburgi's murder and many other issues about DR. M.M Kalburgi.
