He was from Haugesund and held on Eikås farm on Bjoa. From the barn he had secret radio transmissions to London. He spearheaded locally organize resistance work and intelligence. Arquebus was the agent who held the longest radio contact with London throughout the occupation period. He is awarded St.Olavsmedaljen with Ekegren, War Cross and Kings Medal for Courage of freedom.
