In 1968, Basingstoke was a prosperous town, and a short film was made about a young couple who sample various clubs and societies available to them. Scenes of construction of the new shopping centre and the old market square make a brief appearance along with some well known local industries, 50 years on, how have things changed, and what if any of the original clubs and societies, land marks and industry still survive.
