At the end of Val Rovana (1400m) in Ticino, Switzerland there are two little villages, Campo Vallemaggia and Cimalmotto. Thirty years ago there were a thousand inhabitants. Today there are about fifty. Recently, there has been a certain revival of interest in the area.
