Con el Cuatro al Hombro is a documentary about Venezuelan musicians who cross the border and play music of the plains of the Orinoco Basin to survive the economic crisis in Venezuela. As principal characters we meet Carlos Vargas ("El Gabán Cachamero"), Henry "El Samurai" Silva, and other musicians who play in the streets of the city of Arauca, Colombia. To the rhythm of the cuatro, harp and maracas, the music of los Llanos del Orinoco connects with stories of Venezuelans who live in pendular migration to purchase food and support their families. Filmed in the first half of 2018.
