Eric Forsgren became known throughout the country during TV's childhood in the 50s and 60s. He was Northern Norrland's first television reporter. Through hundreds of reports and films, he put the people in northern Sweden's mountain villages, forest villages and archipelago on the map, and that before the expansion of television has yet reached these areas. For two years, Eric Forsgren and his photographer worked without being able to see a single box themselves. Documentary filmmaker Nima Sarvestani meets Eric today and in the rich film archive they find a whole treasure of stories about bear hunters, accordion haters and Sigge Länta that digs into 40 degrees of cold.
