Even in today's modern world we witness how women have attained no empowerment in few areas. The narrated story Meya Manush is a similar picturisation. The brother wants his sister to get married leaving education aside. Though they protest to the injustice but are given no value as they are women. They are just supposed to listen to their in-laws and live according to them. While in the city the scenario is just the opposite- Men get married according to their choice and get separated from their parents. A same scenario has been portrayed in this story. But the need of having parents to oneself is ought to be felt. So the story revolves around the efforts the family members put to unite with their parents and stay happily forever.
