A Sunday in the country, in the early 1990s, in a house where three of the characters (Hélène, Pierre and Paul, all three of them in their forties) lived a love story twenty years earlier - the community spirit, the 70's. Then they split up. Peter still lives alone in this house. Helene and Paul married each other, elsewhere. That day, they return with embarrassed spouses (Anne, wife of Paul and Antoine, husband of Hélène) and insolent child (Lise, daughter of Hélène and Antoine), to debate the sale of the house, once purchased jointly and which has gained value. They need the money. But did they only come for this? There are in the cupboards sentimental corpses, secrets, lost ideals and remorse.
