The Eurovision Song Contest 2018 was the 63rd edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. It took place in Lisbon, Portugal. It was the first time Portugal had hosted the contest – 54 years after the country made its debut in 1964. Organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and host broadcaster Rádio e Televisão de Portugal (RTP), the contest was held at the Altice Arena. The first semi-final took place on the 8th of May 2018. The live shows were presented by Filomena Cautela, Sílvia Alberto, Daniela Ruah and Catarina Furtado, marking the first time four hosts presented the contest.
