Two humans, two stories: Esmail and Manar are forced to leave their home in Syria. They get away and finally arrive in the German city of Dortmund. They build themselves new lives there while their families are stuck in an apparently never-ending war. In "Here" the two young men talk about what it means to say goodbye, to flee to Europe and settle down in a country that constantly discusses whether foreigners are still welcome.
