On the north-eastern side of the Cap Bon peninsula in Tunisia, the excavations have uncovered an archaeological site of major importance since it is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since November 28, 1986. This site is a city and a Punic necropolis, this site represents the ancient remains of Kerkouane, a large city of which sheltered 2000 inhabitants. This film familiarizes us with the way of life of the Karkouanais. A wall divides the city in two: the intramural area and the extramural area.
