The film is a memory of Vladimir Vysotsky without distortion and speculation. It opens for you some pages from the life of this Man with the capital letter and introduces the viewer to previously undiscovered, non-public pages of the life of a truly national poet. In addition to his relatives Marina Vlady, Vadim Tumanov, Mikhail Shemyakin, Vsevolod Abdulov, Alexey Shturmin, Valery Yanklovich, the film contains memories of people who in different situations came into contact with him in the theater, at concerts, on the set. Vysotsky was loved and known by all strata of society: officials, engineers, athletes, doctors, prospectors, and prisoners... People's love was the highest reward, even the authorities recognized this, but the truth was silent... "There are no prophets in their own country...", so said the poet. But he himself, without knowing it, eventually turned out to be a prophet. And today we see all this around us. And therefore the dedication film, like a relay baton, preserves and carries the memory of Vysotsky, along with Pushkin, Lermontov, Yesenin, Pasternak, as part of our unique culture. Vysotsky is remembered by: Marina Vlady, Mikhail Shemyakin, Vadim Tumanov, Valery Yanklovich, Alexey Shturmin, Babek Serush, Larisa Luzhina, Gennady Poloka, Yungvald Khilkevich, etc.
