Happiness only real when shared takes the viewer on a visual journey in which the photography is the very backbone. The film makers travel around with their camera and converse with people from different cultural backgrounds. Through the film we follow a few chosen individuals who share their stories and views on what's really important in life. Cornelius runs an anarchist library way outside what's considered normal society, Lucho has dedicated his life to making others happy and Jeremy is dreaming about the safety and happiness that a successful career hopefully gives him. Even though they all live under different conditions they have found a way of life that more or less suits them. The big question is if they're really happy with the choices they made?
