One of the most difficult disciplines is jumping over one's own shadow. With this wisdom, Bertram Dinkler, a biscuit manufacturer by trade and anything but a sports junkie, believes he can help lazy classmates of his daughter Charlotte on the jumps. However, his old-fashioned know-it-all triggers an unexpected fighting spirit not in the young people, but in the single mother Stefanie Eckhoff. A dispute at the parents' evening ends with an unusual bet: If it's that easy, Stefanie challenges him, Bertram can set a good example. However, it is not enough for the late fifties to get the sports badge - they have to do better than you.
