The Pavilion for People with Special Needs is the home to people with Alzheimer's, within the local public Retirement Home of Ustì nad Orlici, in Bohemia, Czech Republic. Kindness is one of the twelve points officially included in the Bill of Rights for the Vulnerable Person, a document that is displayed in the Pavilion kitchen, where everybody can stop by to enjoy a cup of coffee. The strength of the team work in the Alzheimer's pavilion is to consider imperfection as the everyday normality; because each one of us has imperfections, fragilities and lack of skills. Kindness is not a plus, is the tool that opens many doors; the results in human, medical, financial terms are extremely interesting. Three years of work, three years of life with Marta, Maria, Karel, Pepa. Smiles, tears and many occasions of joy.
