Rejab migrated to Kuala Lumpur in search of a new life after being disappointed by accusations of chicken theft and peeping at a village maiden. In that incident, he was splashed with chili water, causing his vision to blur, and those who didn't know him assumed he was blind. In the capital city, Rejab, who was considered blind, joined a Buskers Group. Despite becoming famous, Rejab wasn't happy because he felt his success came through wrongful means.
