The film explores the heritage of migrations to Hackney from its diverse communities, including Caribbean, Asian, Chinese, Vietnamese, Cypriot, and Kurdish. Focusing on their first arrivals, difficulties with housing and racism, family and work life, and their decisions to stay in Hackney.
