The atrocities committed by the Nazis have been widely discussed at a general level since WWII. However, less attention has been paid to the fact that the perpetrators of these atrocities have kept quiet about their actions to their own descendants. This wall of silence has surrounded the deeds that have been done but not addressed or discussed within families.
