Kanlı Aşk

No king or queen has wielded the scepter in the world for so many years. No monarch has reigned longer in British history. Elizabeth II has been an authority for 70 years. A ruler without power and yet a power factor. And even today she is an icon in the focus of the world public. On the occasion of the celebrations for the 70th throne jubilee in early June 2022, the documentary "The Queen - Fateful Years of a Queen" picks out six decisive phases in the life of the Queen and tells of moving moments, ordeal tests of the royal family and the United Kingdom over the decades. Six pivotal periods in the Queen's life The documentary shows a queen, a family and an institution in a constant struggle for the balance between tradition and modernity and asks: Is the queen a relic from a bygone era, the royal family an anachronism - or is there something more important, more valuable, even meaningful behind it ?
