Damini, an independent woman makes friend with her enemy, mother in law Ashalata after Ashalata's death. The ghost of Ashalata tried to poke Damini at the beginning as she never liked Damini. But with time they understand the value of each other to keep the family happy. Ashalata's ghost helps Damini in the fight with a Land mafia who was trying to snatch away their home and they both realize that a mother in law and a daughter in law should be friends, not competitors.
