This is the story of a rock musician who, after experiencing the spotlight with his band Trust, which he founded in 1977, chose the darker light of the cells of La Farlède prison in Var. Raymond Manna, who in his youth met Jimi Hendrix, is now a Catholic chaplain in the prison environment. How did this vocation come to him? If Raymond is close to the inmates, it's because he too had a chaotic childhood marked by the death of his parents when he was only 10 years old. Music became an escape and, at the same time, his means of first connecting with prisoners during Trust's legendary concert at Fleury-Mérogis in 1980. While pursuing a career that many would dream of in the entertainment world, an "unexpected" encounter in the early '90s would redirect his life.
